When You Arrive
Our client service representative will greet you and ask you to complete a client information form. This form is required of all clients so that we can get important information on your pet’s medical problems and previous history. If upon presentation your pet is critical, a technician will take your pet to the treatment area to be examined while you complete the form. You may be asked whether or not you consent to immediate medical treatment or CPR. We understand this can be a scary situation and ask for your patience as our staff thoroughly evaluate and stabilize your pet. As a triage facility where we do not take appointments, most patients are seen on a first-come-first-served basis. However, if animals arrive with life-threatening injuries or medical problems, they are always seen immediately. This can result in an unavoidable wait for non-critical animals. Your patience as we attend to each and every pet is greatly appreciated.
Treatment Costs and Payment Options
Once the doctor has come up with a recommended treatment plan the technician will go over an estimate and consent form with you. We do require that a deposit be left before testing and treatment begin. The remainder of the charges will be due upon discharge. If a change in your pet’s condition warrants a change in treatment, you will be notified as soon as possible. We will discuss your pet’s changing medical status and its effect on your estimate. Unfortunately, we are unable to make payment plans and all payment is due at the time of service.
